San Miguel de Salinas is a small inland municipality with no coast of its own, on the edge of the Torrevieja lagoon. Its centre keeps village life, and around it there are urbanisations with views of the lagoon or the countryside.
For a buyer, the appeal is calm and views, in exchange for driving to the beach or to the golf courses on the coast.

San Miguel de Salinas is in the province of Alicante, in the Comunitat Valenciana. The first sale of a new home by its developer carries 10% VAT and AJD at the general rate of 1.4% since 1 June 2026.
If you plan to let it to tourists, the Comunitat Valenciana has required a municipal urban-compatibility report since 2024 (Decree-law 9/2024), and since April 2025 the owners' community can object by a three-fifths vote (Organic Law 1/2025). Check before buying with that in mind.
